JOIN OUR TITANS GIRLS TEAMS IN 2024!

In Season 2023, the Berwick Springs Titans worked extremely hard at getting together a team of U10 Girls, and we are proud to say that we managed to do just that. In Season 2024, we plan to have a Girls team represent the Titans in U10, U12, U14 and U16. The Titans are passionate and dedicated to introducing AFL to as many young girls as possible, and we are fortunate to have the support of not only a great team of volunteers, but also the Titans Senior Womens Team, as well as a raft of local AFLW players.

Jess McLardie is coach of our U10 Girls team for 2024, and she is also the Girls Football Coordinator of the Titans.

Jess is a dedicated and passionate mother of three children who are actively playing AFL for Berwick Springs Junior Football Club. With her deep love for the sport, she is a Level 1 AFL coach, and continues to dedicate time to expand her knowledge and expertise. In 2023, she had the privilege of serving as the assistant coach for the U10 girls team, contributing to their growth and development on and off the field.

Jess’ commitment and hard work were recognised when she was awarded the prestigious SEJ Female Coach of the Year in 2023, a testament to her dedication and impact within the AFL community.

Building on this success, Jess has recently been appointed as the Female Football Coordinator for 2024, where she will play a pivotal role in promoting and advancing female participation in the sport. With a strong background in coaching and a genuine passion for empowering young athletes, Jess is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the AFL community. She strives to inspire and support young girls in their AFL journey, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
